Xiyun Xu (b. 1995) is a visual artist based in New Jersey and New York. Born in Hangzhou, his work ranges from sculpture, and installation to digital art. He received a Master of Fine Art from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the China Academy of Art. Majored in sculpture, he is passionate about deconstructing and transforming traditional sculpture into figurative vessels in our social scenario including community space and the virtual realm. His works have been exhibited internationally in Mana Contemporary New Jersey, 68 Franklin St. SOHO, BOS2022, The Pratt Photography Gallery, The BUNK, T-Project Hangzhou, Pfizer Building Brooklyn, and more.
